VERDICT

Overall, compared to other garbage disposers, the Insinkerator Evolution ¾ HP is a standout performer in its class. It isn’t necessarily the easiest disposer to install, and it may need some additional TLC in the mounting process to get it setup just right, but once you have it put together correctly, this is definitely one of the best non-commercial grade garbage disposer that money can buy. It runs quiet, it can handle just about any kitchen waste the average home can produce, and it is both environmentally friendly and septic tank safe. Next time you are in the market for a new garbage disposer, your first choice should definitely be the Insinkerator Evolution ¾ HP.

When it comes to certain appliances in your home, they need to function so well that 9 times out of 10 you forget they are even there. Dishwashers, laundry machines, and ovens all fall into this category. However, none is so often overlooked and yet so vitally important as your garbage disposer. It needs to be quiet enough so that it doesn’t sound like a rock grinder, yet powerful enough that it can handle any kitchen waste you throw at it. Other important points to consider is whether or not this disposer is environmentally friendly, works with your septic system, uses minimal energy, and is compatible with your dishwasher drain.

Fortunately, Insinkerator makes an exceptional quality ¾ horsepower garbage disposer that easily handles any and every kitchen chore you can throw at it. It is the best 3/4 HP garbage disposal in our reviews. Let’s take a look at the key features that make this the best garbage disposer choice for your home.

Highlighted Features

SoundSeal Technology

You can count on super quiet operation thanks to Insinkerator’s SoundSeal Technology. This technology uses insulation in combination with specially designed anti-vibration components to significantly reduce noise levels when compared to similar models. The collar mount is dampened with a cork and rubber collar. The disposer chamber itself is covered by a rubber sink baffle that dampens sound coming from the chamber. Overall, this makes the Insinkerator Evolution one of the quietest garbage disposers on the market.

Two-Stage Multi-Grind Technology

The best garbage disposers are the ones that can reduce the size of food waste scraps to a fine paste before they are rinsed down the drainpipe. The Insinkerator Evolution uses its patented two-stage Multi-Grind design quickly grinds waste down to the smallest possible particles. Therefore, it eliminates waste you wouldn’t typically be able to load into a disposer, such as fruit, small bones and vegetable waste like peels and roots. There is very little in the way of normal kitchen waste this disposer can’t handle. It also makes work much easier when it’s time to clean up meal prep

Quick Lock for Easy Installation

One of the most difficult aspects getting new garbage disposer is replacing an older disposer. Fortunately, installing the Insinkerator Evolution could not be easier thanks to the innovative design of the locking mounting collar included in the box. All you need to do is twist off the old disposer and lock the new one into place. Best of all, the stainless steel flange will complement most existing kitchen sinks.

Large Grinding Chamber

The grind chamber holds up to 34.6 oz., and all grinding components are made of high quality stainless steel. The larger capacity means that cleanup is much faster after fixing a meal or washing the dishes. Stainless steel grinding components mean that your disposer chamber and grinding apparatus will never rust.

Powerful ¾ Horsepower Motor

Thanks to the Dura-Drive Induction motor, this disposer has power to spare with ¾ horsepower. Due to its unique design this motor not only stands up to the heaviest use, but also requires less maintenance. Best of all, it’s backed by a four year limited in-home warranty.
